Mayorov V. Administrative Legal Status of Subject of Terrorism Counteraction in Ukraine

The dissertation dwells on theoretical and administrative legal issues of terrorism counteraction in Ukraine. In the research the following notions such as terrorism, extremism, terrorism counteraction, administrative legal regulation of terrorism counteraction have been determined from the point of view of administrative legal science. The system of the subjects on struggle with terrorism, their administrative legal status have been analyzed, the issues of state control in the sphere of terrorism counteraction have been determined as well as the peculiarities of this control in this sphere, the conventional mechanism of terrorism counteraction and legal aspect of functioning of institutional antiterrorism systems have been investigated. The suggestions on adoption of the state antiterrorist strategy of Ukraine have been formulated with the purpose of improvement of national legislation and practice of its implementation in the sphere of terrorism counteraction.
