The dissertation is devoted to rise the effectiveness of surgical treatment of tubercular patients, suppurative inflammantation of thorax and neoplasm of mediastinum at the expense of using super low temperature. All round research has been carried out under 204 patients by author of this dissertation. 108 patients have been operated with application of cryoinfluence. 96 patients have been operated without using cryoaction. Two groups of 20 laboratory rats have been also investigated. The tissue of lungs of one of them has been exposed to cryoinfluence. It has been settled that under cryoinfluence on lungs there is a possibility to get a stable resumed effect of cryoinfluence - haemostatic and hermetic. The application of cryoaction under surgical treatment of patients with neoplasm of mediastinum has provided the diminution of total operational loss of blood on 24,2 %, shortening of volume of pleura exudation on 62 %. The surgical treatment of patients with suppurative inflammation of chest wall with application of cryoinfluence has provided of shortening of term stopping of febrile fever on 56,5 %, the absence of relapse of osteomyelitis of ribs. The application of cryoanalgesia has favored the shortening of term of making the patients more active and expressiveness of after operational complications. The cultivated method of cryosupporting under implementation of broad pneumonectomia because of cancer of lungs has provided the increasing of the diminution of inter-operational loss of blood on 32,6 %, the shortening of term-staying in hospital on 37,6 %. The application of cryo-influence under-extrapleural thoraxplasty has provided the improvement of general results of treatment because of lowering after-operational exudation on 81,3 %, and the increasing the numder of local purulent complications on 18,3%.
