Thesis is dedicated to research compensation of losses in the case of violation of civil laws of contractual obligations' parties, on the basis of new Civil Code, Economic Code and other civil legislation acts of Ukraine.Definition and characteristics of losses in civil literature and civil acts has been described, differentiating of losses in the economic and legal meaning has been given and new doctrinal definition of losses has been formulated in this work.
