Essay

The dissertation is devoted to theoretical and methodological study of mechanisms of military-informational security provision. Complex study of characteristics, functions and sense of terms "War" and "military-informational security" is done. Propositions for providing Ukraine's military-informational security in actual geopolitical context and informational warfare threat are done. Informational-psychological warfare became an independent branch of foreign policy of developed countries. At the same time the most advanced countries are developing nonlethal weaponry using special means of informational-psychological influence. Relations between military and informational security within provision of national security in modern geopolitical context under conditions of informational war growing threat has been defined. Taking into account the abovementioned, appropriate approaches and measures has been offered in order to provide military informational security taking into account the experience of leading countries.
