The thesis is devoted to solving the problems of repairs and renewal to the sewage collector control shafts using domestically produced small-pieces ceramics. The engineering solution for the control shafts, building and maintenance requirements, factors affecting durability have been under consideration. The small-pieces ceramics and mortars for repairs and renewal to the control shafts were investigated to determine their physical, mechanical and corrosive characteristics. As for renewal of walls an arrangement of new three-layer wall - "old concrete - new concrete - brickwork" - has been proposed. Bond resistance between the layers of the new wall has been determined according to the available technologies. Methods of finding strength properties in the structure of the reconstructed wall have been developed. Organization principles and technique of repairs and renewal to the sewage collector control shafts using small-pieces ceramics have been developed. There are recommendations how to carry out works safely in the operating shaft.
