Orekhova O. Risk assessment of cardiovascular disease development in workers of heating workshops of modern metallurgical enterprises and ways of its minimization.

The dissertation presents a new decision of scientific problem of determination and assessment of occupational risk of cardiovascular diseases in modern metallurgical enterprise. The system of complex prophylaxis has been developed. It is established that occupational health risks in workers of modern metallurgical production are caused by the complex of harmful occupational factors including the heating microclimate as the major among them. The results of studying the health of workers prove to the high morbidity level, prevalence and temporary morbidity rates, acceleration of aging rates in workers of heating workshops of metallurgical enterprises. The obtained results prove to the high degree of the correlation between cardiovascular diseases and working conditions (RR= 3.60-3.91; EF=72.1-74.4 % and RR=3.66-6.10; EF 72.7-83.6 % accordingly): hypertension in age of 30-39 and 50 and over years (RR=1.8 and 1.82; EF 44 and 45 % accordingly), the ischemic heart disease in the work experience 10-14 years (RR=2.84; EF=64.8 %). The studies allowed to provide the "safe" terms of work. Also the complex system of prophylaxis of cardiovascular diseases and ways of management by the occupational risks at modern metallurgical enterprises has been developed.
