The dissertation faces the problem of studying the psychological factors and conditions of the effective formation of teenagers' thinking culture at the lessons of Foreign Literature. The model of teenagers' thinking culture has been worked out. It is pointed out that thinking culture comprises motivational, cognitive and social spheres, each of them consists of contextual, operational and personal-sensible layers and components. The suggested system of psychological and pedagogical influences on pupils is aimed to form pupil's thinking culture. It is grounded that the formation of teenagers' thinking culture is caused by the following psychological factors: teachers' readiness to organize effective subject-subject interaction of teenagers at Foreign Literature lessons; teenagers' readiness to adequate perception and comprehension of the literary works on purpose to interpret and analyze them; positive motivation of pupils including the motivation of achievement; students' ability for social self-regulation, self-managing; students' mastering the methods of intellectual activity; students' ability for the realization of creative qualities, personal qualities which contribute to realization of creative work; pupils' acquiring the strategies of effective communication.
