Kharytonov R. Realization of climatic changes as a factor of formation of the youth's ecological consciousness

The paper is devoted to the problem of self-awareness of the essence of climatic changes, namely as a factor that stimulates both formation of the ecological consciousness and ecological culture of youth. On the basis of the theoretical analysis it is stated that attitude to climatic changes is an integral psychological mechanism which includes the meaningful and the dynamic aspects. The meaningful aspect is the attitude itself and the dynamic one is a fixed directive, the psychological nature and role of which is reflected in the meaningful regulation. Thus, the attitude to climatic changes is a subjective reflection of the correlation of the individual's personal needs with the world's phenomena; it is also a factor which determines behaviour. Due to the theoretical and empiric analyses it is identified that "ecological consciousness" is a combination of knowledge and attitude. It is created and reveals itself in activity and communication.
