Objekt: poetikal texts of the end of XVI-XVII th. centuries, first of all poetic works of the early Baroque period. Aime - discovering of the mechanism of forming the Ukrainian Baroque poetry in the interaction of the cultural traditions of the East and the West. Research methods: dialogism theory, structure-semiotic, structure-typological, comparative, deconstruction, hermeneutics, reseptive aesthetics and archetype theory. Results, novelty: determination of the Byzantine code features and the peculiarities of its interaction with the sarmatyzm features. Using branch: training courses on the Ukrainian literature history of the XVI-XVII th. centuries.
