Meyzerska I. Preposition in Ukrainian Explanatory Lexicography of the II-nd Half of the XX-th Century.

The thesis is dedicated to the complex analysis of the modern Ucrainian prepositional system as an object of explanatory lexicography.The subsystem of primary and secondary (simple and difficult) prepositions which are included in the first lexical team, and also subsystem of prepositional units, which develops and filled up constantly, is distinguished and analysed, enriching the sphere of nomination of relations. The register of prepositions is complemented by derivative units, adapted to the format of explanatory dictionary. Descriptive, comparative methods and methods of differential and distributive analysis. A sphere of the use is teaching and drafting of dictionaries.
