The dissertation is dedicated to the peculiarities of the phraseological transformation of syntactic word-combinations with possessive adjectives component. The stages of phraseological transformation of possessive adjectives in the structure of phraseological units are defined. The complex analysis of structural semantic types and models of phraseological units with possessive component is performed. The connotative component in the meaning of phraseological units with possessive adjectives is revealed.
