Object - a process of formation of junior pupils' creative abilities in the educational process; aim - to establish efficiency of introduction of the scientifically developed system of formation of junior pupils' creative abilities by means of musical games on effectiveness of mastering them during the educational process; methods - theoretical, empiric; novelty - the system of formation of junior pupils' creative abilities, which is grounded on the methodological approaches (personaly-activical, systematical, technological, cholistical, synergetic, logico-genetical) to the field of research, was scientifically grounded and experimentally tested for the first time; exposure of types of creative abilities (adjusting-effective, processualy-technological, evaluationaly-reflectional); development of classification of musical games (interpretation-performance, musicology, inmprovisation-composition) as a means of formation of junior pupils' creative abilities; content and methodology of formation of creative abilities were further developed, the conditions of formation of junior pupils' creative abilities were exposed (psyho-physyological and social acquisitions, intellectual, practical, emotional experience, the presence of the leader of pedagogical process, the optimum environment, real creative activity etc.); a diagnostic tool for the exposure of the level of formation of junior pupils' creative abilities was improved; the features of junior pupils' creative abilities were specified (sensativity to creation, inclination to practical cognition of reality, requirement in a game etc.); results - the system of formation of junior pupils' creative abilities by means of musical games in the process of education was created, the methods of their introduction to practice were determined, educational material and methodical recommendations for the teachers of initial school were developed; area - pedagogics
