Essay

The dissertation covers a significant in scientific and practical aspects topic - to study the features of pathogenesis of dysfunctional uterine bleedings and efficiency of extreme cryotherapy in treatment of women of reproductive age. The complex treatment using extreme cryotherapy allows to decrease the doses and duration of hormones administration, to obtain high efficacy immediately after the therapy, when compared with traditional methods. Three months after the complex treatment menstrual cycle restored in 96.8% of cases when compared with traditional methods (56.3%). Long term observation of EC application in complex treatment of dysfunctional uterine bleedings demonstrated bleeding control and normalization of clinical-laboratory indices. The treatment was not accompanied by secondary reactions and complications. The efficiency of the treatment (absence of relapses for one year) at application of traditional methods made up 71.9 %; that of extreme cryotherapy 86.7%; the complex method 96.8%. The results obtained on application of general extreme cryotherapy in complex therapy of patients with dysfunctional uteral bleedings suggest that this method of treatment produces a pronounced clinical effect, normalized the hormonal status of the patients, the state of hemostasis, lipid metabolism and anti-oxidant system, which allows to reduce the volume of pharmacotherapy, surgical interventions and can be recommend to use in practice.
