Essay

The research object is the state of structural and functional characteristics of lymphohemopoietic complex (LHPC) and cancer stem cells of C3H mice prior to and after use of fetal liver cells (FLCs). The research aim is to experimentally prove the possibility of preventive use of cryopreserved FLCs to treat breast cancer in mice with genetically determined form of its development. The research methods are cryobiological, morphological, immunological, and hematological, as well as statistical. In the work it has been obtained the experimental substantiation of the possibility of preventive use of cryopreserved FLCs to correct the state of immune system, minimize clinical manifestation of pathology, increase the survival of tumor-bearing animals. The varying of the cryopreservation protocols enabled to select those from the tested ones provided the maximum integrity of the components of FLCs, which are associated with their anti-tumor effect.
