Reznikova E. Adaptive transformation of psychological protection of a student's personality

The object of the research is a psychological defense. The research objective is to investigate the psychological content of the psychological defense adaptive transformations in the studentship period. Research methods - theoretical analysis, theoretical modeling, empirical methods, mathematical statistics. The novelty of the research - it's the first time the appropriateness of the adaptive transformation usage for understanding the defensive behavior modifications has been proved empirically and in theory, a model of the psychological defense that reflects the development tendencies interaction and ensures the united analysis of conscious and unconscious defensive behavior tools has been developed, ideas of the role of the personal regulation system in the adaptive behavior type formation have got further theoretical development and empirical corroboration, a concept of the structural and dynamical characteristics of the student's psychological defense system has been specified, an idea of possibility of the student's self-defensive efforts activation by means of personal regulation levels improving has been deepened. Practical results - development of a measuring system of the psychological support of the students' self-defensive efforts, implementation of the results into the educational process in institutes of higher education
