Object of investigation - regulation of the synthesis of corticosteroids in the adrenal cortex of estrogen-dependent intracellular signaling systems involved in transduction signals of estradiol in the adrenal cortex; aim - to explore the participation of estrogens in the regulation of metabolism and steroidogenesis in adrenocorticocytes and describe the mechanisms mediating effects of steroidogenesis of estradiol in the tissue of humans and animals' adrenal cortex in normal and pathology conditions; methods - physiological, biochemical, morphological, statistical; newness and resalts- it first shown that, the influence of 17b-estradiol on steroidogenesis in adrenal cortex was evaluated in humans and animals. Quantitative changes of the phospholipid composition of human adrenal cortex under the influence of estradiol were identified. It has been proved that cAMP-dependent signaling system of secondary messengers contributed to implementation of estradiol effects in humans and animals' adrenal glands. Changes in the protein kinase C activity in adrenocortycocytes under the influence of estradiol were studied. Changes in mRNA expression of the protein regulating the fast phase of steroidogenesis (StAR) and desmolase in human adrenal cortex under the influence of 17b-estradiol were analyzed. The effect of estradiol in vivo on the content of RNA and DNA in adrenal cortex, adenohypophysis and hypothalamus was studied in rats. An antiapoptosis activity of 17b-estradiol in adrenocortycocytes was shown; it has been introduced into research and studying processes; sphere - medicine.
