Essay

The subject: discourse of contemporary Ukrainian press. The aim: complex study of internal connotational antonymy as a factor of development of lexico-semantic system of the Ukrainian language. The research methods: contextual, componental, conceptual analysis. The results, novelty: the specifics of internal connotational antonymy as an aggregation of mechanisms of axiological meaning formation was studied on the example of root socio-political vocabulary, some lexico-semantic innovations have been identified. The field of application: teaching special courses, publication of research works, vocabulary formation.
