Object: modal particles as the markers of subcategories modal meanings. Purpose: to determine role and place of modal particles in grammar system of Ukrainian language. Methods of investigations: descriptive, distributive, semantics-stylistic, contextual. Results, novelty: Complex and polyaspects analysis of modal particles from the point of functional grammar, communicative linguistic and pragmatics was realized at first in Ukrainian linguistic.
