Object - tricyclic and tetracyclic antidepressants mianserine and tianeptine; purpose - elaboration of sheme of chemical-toxicological analysis of biological material on presence of mianserine and tianeptine; methods - chemical methods of analysis (qualitative tests), isolation from biological material, spectroscopic methods of analysis (UV-, NMR-, chromato-mass-spectroscopy, fluorescence spectrometry), HPLC and TLC; results - complex chemical-toxycology inverstigations of mianserine and tianeptine was propoused, methods of identification and quantitative analysis of this drugs and theire metabolites isolated from biological objectes, new effective and express method of these substances and their metabolites isolation from biomaterial (internal organs, blood, and urine) was proposed. Mianserine and tianeptine distribution in organs of poisoned animals and terms of their keeping in the biomaterial are inverstigated. The scheme of chemical-toxicological analysis of mianserine and tianeptine with their metabolites in biomaterials is worked out.
