Essay

The subject-matter of the research is speech acts that violate the sincerity condition in modern German dialogic discourse. The purpose of the research is to reveal the cognitive-communicative nature of speech acts that violate the sincerity condition and to determine their linguopragmatic - illocutive, perlocutive and discourse-strategic - peculiarities in modern German dialogic discourse. The project is accomplished within a wholistic framework of methods among which the main ones are: methods of contextual and intention analysis (to elicit the speaker's communicative intention); the method of speech act analysis ( to find out the illocutive types of speech acts that violate the sincerity condition); methods of presupposition analysis and the analysis of discourse implicatures (to reveal the specific features of the realization of implicit speech acts that violate the sincerity condition and of reactions to them); the method of dialogue analysis (to establish the types of such reactions); the method of discourse strategies (to ascertain the peculiarities of the realization of strategies of deception). The novelty of the research consists in the fact that for the first time in the framework of cognitive pragmalinguistics there have been illocutive, perlocutive and discourse-strategic peculiarities of the realization of a speech act that violates the sincerity condition in German dialogic discourse brought to light and the cognitive-pragmalinguistic properties of insincere discourse described. The carried out research has a theoretical value for the development of cognitive pragmatics in linguistics. The obtained results are a contribution to cognitive pragmalinguistics (the determination of the intention peculiarities of a speech act that violates the sincerity condition), communicative pragmalinguistics (the determination of their illocutive and perlocutive characteristics); the theory of dialogue (the establishment of the types of verbal reaction to speech acts under consideration); discoursology (the revelation of the nature of the realization of deception strategies in insincere discourse). The practical value of the obtained results and derived conclusions is determined by the possibility of their implementation in teaching theoretical grammar ("Pragmatics of sentences") and stylistics ("Stylistical syntax") of the German language, actual problems of linguistics ("Pragmalinguistics"), special courses in cognitive linguistics, general linguistics, discoursology, psycholinguistics as well as in students' and post-graduate students' scientific research.
