Essay

The hydraulics of the flow behind two-span sluices-regulators with valve locks is studied. The classification of hydraulic modes in the lower pool of the specified structures is given and the borders of existence of these modes are determined. The dependences for the definition of the height characteristics for near-critical flow in spatial conditions are received. The recommendations for hydraulic calculation and choice of the rational design of energy dissipator are developed in view of peculiaritice of near-critical flow.
