Essay

The object of the scientific research is Y-potato virus (Potato virus Y) caused potato diseases in Polissya of Ukraine Aim: to improve methods of diagnosis of Y-potato virus based determination of the pathogen population, characteristics of disease manifestations in Polesie Ukraine and study the properties of virus isolates for the timely provision of protection measures. Results. On the basis of studying strains of the virus peculiarities of diagnosing potato diseases have been found. Also, susceptible to Potato virus Y sorts grown in Ukraine have been found. The data obtained are taken into consideration for improving the methods of checking Potato virus Y in growing seed potatoes and monitoring virus diseases of plants. Agriculture.
