Complex theoretic-methodological analysis of political conflict is investigated in this thesis as well as the level of this phenomenon research in modern political thought. On the base of conflictological theories analysis the essence of a political conflict, its specific character, its object and subject, sources of emergence are revealed. Structural elements of a political conflict, principal factors, destructive and constructive consequences of political conflicts for Ukrainian society are defined.
