Essay

Object: the phraselogical units of Bulgarian language. Objective: comprehensive analysis of gender stereotypes, which were found out in the Bulgarian phraseology. Methods: conceptual analysis, descriptive and comparative methods, the method of retrospection, the method of quantitative calculations. Scientific novelty: determined that for the first time in the native linguistics gender stereotypes based on the Bulgarian phraseological fund were found out and analysed. The practical value: the use of courses in lexicology and phraseology of Bulgarian language, disciplines of linguacultural cycle, gender researches, in practice of lexicography and translation.
