Essay

Object of research - geometric parameters and technology of rich and poor iron ores mining. Аim of the work - to rise room mining systems efficiency through development of theoretical foundations of the method of calculated functional characteristics used for determining geometric parameters of these systems and development оf technologies providing increase of iron content in extracted ore and exclusion of jobs on cutting slots formation from technological process. Methods of research: analysis and scientific generalization of literature sources and production information; method of calculated functional characteristics and experimental studies; theoretical generalization of studies results; correlation-regressive analysis; sound-ranging method; structural-technological solutions; experimental test in industrial conditions аnd technological-economic analysis of researches results. Novelty - for the first time here is stated dependence of limiting values of equivalent spans of hanging wall rocks exposures in stoping rooms on the coefficient of their strength and the angle of deposit dipping; there is obtained dependence of extracted from rooms ore contamination on degree of excess of actual values of equivalent spans of hanging wall rocks exposures in stoping rooms over their limiting values; here is based dependence of rooms height and width relationship providing their stability on coefficient of ore massif strength. Results - there are developed methodology of calculation of rooms mining systems geometric parameters with account of influence of strength coefficient of hanging wall rocks and deposit angle of dipping on stability of hanging wall exposures in rooms, stressed state of ore massif on stoping rooms shape that allows to regulate qualіtу of ore extracted from these rooms; technology of rich iron ores mining improving indices of reserves extraction at interchamber pillars and ceilings breaking; technology of poor іron ores mining (magnetite quartzites) excluding cuttіng slots formation from technological process. "Addition to the instruction "Determination and control of allowable sizes of structural elements of mining sуstems at Krivbass mines by staуt-industrial company "Yzhruda". Results are introduced at mines of open joint-stock company "Krivbasszhelezrudcom", open joint-stock company "Sukhaja Balka" and Ordzhonikidze mine of oрen joint-stock company "TSGOK".
