Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the study of black currant and raspberry widespread and harmful of virus diseases in the Ukraine's Lisosteppe. Reversion, green mottle of black currant and yellow blotch, vein chlorosis of raspberry were detected by the visual diagnostics method. Blackcurrant reversion virus, Cucumber mosaic virus 1 Smith, Raspberry yellow blotch virus and Raspberry vein chlorosis viruses were identified. The diagnostics method of Raspberry yellow blotch virus was improved. Raspberry ringspot virus, Raspberry bushy dwarf virus, Arabis mosaic virus and Strawberry latent ringspot viruses were detected by the method of enzyme-linked immunosorbent. These viruses were in the latent form. The virologycal evaluation was held of black currant varieties resistance against Blackcurrant reversion virus and that of raspberry against Raspberry yellow blotch virus. The photosynthetic activity of black currant and raspberry diseased and healthy plants was studied by means of the chlorophyll fluorescence induction. The method of tissue culture in vitro was applied for the recovery of black currant from Blackcurrant reversion virus and raspberry from Raspberry yellow blotch virus. The mother plantations of the researched crops were established with the virus-free planting stock selected on the basis of visual diagnostics method, biotesting, ILESA-test and electron microscopy.
