Essay

Research is devoted to the improvement of results of a complex surgical treatment of the complicated forms of epithelial coccygeal passages by working out new and improvement of existing methods of treatment on the basis of all-round studying peculiarities of the course of the given disease in patients. The obtained data testify, that the basic agent persisting in the perifocal tissues is St. aureus (58,0 %) and Е. coli (23 %). Other microorganisms (pseudomonas, staphylococcus epidermidis, citrobacter and others) are found in the soft tissues occasionally, in 10 patients (7 %) associations of microorganisms in the perifocal tissues were found. The antiseptic octenidindihydrochloride + 2-phenoxyethanol has been found to have high antibacterial activity concerning the basic microorganisms causing inflammation in patients with festering forms of the epithelial coccygeal passages. The method of treatment of festering forms of the epithelial coccygeal courses by microdraining sanitization electrolysis of a purulent cavity with use of the antiseptic octenidindihydrochloride + 2-phenoxyethanol and an interstitial electrophoresis is designed. Introduction of the designed method has allowed to reduce average terms of purification of a purulent cavity, sensation of pain, promoted eradication of duration of an edema and hyperemia, allowed to reduce terms hospitalization.
