The dissertation is devoted to modelling the efficiency and integrated characteristics the field light from light shafts different forms with diffuse reflection the light for cloudy model a firmament under the standard International Commission on Illumination. Geometrical methods of calculation the efficiency for light shafts and integrated characteristics from shafts in the form of a parallelepiped, the truncated pyramid and surfaces of revolution with different Gaussian curvature are developed. A comparison the efficiency of shaft and light surface from shafts the identical and different forms is executed. Influence the curvature of internal surface shaft on its efficiency and light surface under shaft is researched. Geometrical and physical explanations the influence of shaft parameters, its location relative to a calculated point (plane) on efficiency of shaft and light surface is given. Consequently, corresponding recommendations are formulated. Methods of zones construction on a calculated plane under shaft are developed. The results can be used for illumination design for premises of any form.
