Essay

Object - functional state of organism, work conditions of coal plant seismoprognosis operators. Purpose - to develop preventive measures to decrease occupational risks for health on the basis of sanitary-hygienic assessment of work conditions and revealed regularity of changes in functional state of coal plant seismoprognosis operators. Methods - hygienic, ergonomic, physiological, psychophysiological, medical-statistical, mathematic-statistical. Novelty - for the first time sanitary-hygienic assessment of coal plant seismoprognosis operators’ work conditions after changes in organization of work flow was conducted, specific constituents of work intensity which are not represented in hygienic classification of work were determined; peculiarities of examined operators’ audiograms were identified; negative reactions of CNS and cardiovascular system on work conditions were described, specific complex of psychophysiological indices connected with features of seismoprognosis operators’ labor activity and which can be used for occupational selection was described; acceleration of aging time of operators especially after 15 years of work in the profession was established on the basis of assessment of operators’ biological age; levels of occupational risk were determined according to the data of analysis of morbidity with temporal disability. Results of investigations were introduced on the coal enterprise “A. F. Zasyadko coal” and into the educational process of Donetsk institute of market and social policy and M. Gorky Donetsk national medical university. Branch - medicine (hygiene and occupational pathology).
