Object - the process of electromagnetic wave propagation in AWCs. The purpose - creation of simplified models to predict performance and noise immunity of Wi-Fi and WiMAX branched corridor and street channels by means of their representation in the form of microwave multiports. Methods - theories of radio wave propagation, digital communications networks. Results - a new approach to creation of a simplified AWC model, new models of radio wave propagation in Wi-Fi and WiMAX transmission channels, new methods of identification of street wave channels. It is introduced - at WiMAX system start-up in Kharkiv. Sphere of application - digital radio communication systems
