Flyashnikova A. Methods of comparative analysis of sociological and statistical estimates of poverty in Ukraine

The thesis is dedicated to the definition of the theoretical ground and evaluation of the methods of comparing of sociological and statistical data on the research of poverty and wealth in Ukraine. As the main methods for the comparison were taken the amounts of wages, the per person profits, profit from private farms their medium, median, maximal and minimal data. The comparison has been made using the basic data of poverty and the extreme form of poverty. It was offered for main research institution such as Institute of Sociology NAN of Ukraine and the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine to carry out some work on unification of some data in defining the standard of living in Ukraine.
