Symonenko O. The Leadership Influence on Modernization Processes in Independent Ukraine.

The thesis is dedicated to actual theoretical and applied aspects of leadership within the framework of political modernization of independent Ukraine. An important feature of the work is the principle of deep analysis of Ukrainian particular experience. A significant part of this thesis is devoted to comprehensive study of role and importance of political leaders in organization of the political system of society. The analysis of dependence between characteristic features and efficiency of society and its political regime in Ukraine was covered in the dissertation. The scientific experience of Ukrainian researchers was analyzed and generalized. The results of this analysis and the array of harvested factual materials make it possible to highlight basic ways of the formation of political leadership on post-Soviet space of Ukraine. Also it was analyzed the political and legal nature and the specifics of formation of the institute of political leadership. Conclusions of the work present not only derived scientific generalizations but also recommendations on further improvement of forms and methods of political leader activity. Derived results make it possible to confirm the great role of leadership for the political sphere of Ukrainian society, which proceed to new and higher level of development on the basis of its self-organization and democratization.
