Obuchova A. Improvement of technology of functioning of transfer railway stations in the conditions of mixed and intermodal transportations

The thesis is devoted to theoretical and applied problems of performance in mixed and intermodal transportations processes. The analysis of theoretical workings out and practical experience of performance in mixed and intermodal transportations processes of cargoes by railways is done. On the basis of reproduction of working technologies on transfer stations - combinations at port station - port and frontier station, in models of optimization in processing processes of cars and transportation documents, it has been revealed that the greatest influence on advancement of cargoes at mixed and intermodal transportations belongs to the transition from one width of a track to another. In that way, the research expediency and necessity of a task in view of optimization of working technology at frontier transfer station with necessity of change the width of a track have been proved.
