Object – acute intestinal obstruction (AIO) and acute gangrenous and perforated appendix (AA); aim – to improve the results of treatment of patients with acute surgical abdominal diseases with postoperative purulent-septic complications (PSC); methods – clinical, biochemical, clearance methods of assessment of kidney functions, mathematical and statistics ones; novelty – interaction between emerged PSC and functional state of kidneys in patients with AIO and AA has been grounded for the first time; results – the method of early diagnostics of postoperative PSC and prognostication of their course has been developed; introduced – into the activity of surgical departments and educational process; the field – surgery.
