The analysis of the realization means of the secondary predication in the simple sentence is based on extensive factual material that is examined, selected and scientifically arranged. The status of the deverbative noun as the syncretic lingual unit is explained by studying its categorial properties, the valence potential and analysis of structural-semantic peculiarities of deverbative constructions. The research determines the conditions and signs of the additional nominal predication, expressed by the deverbative construction. The analysis of the deverbative noun, functioning as the carrier of basic and additional predicativity in the sentence and semantics of the models formable with its participation, resulted in the following conclusion: the deverbative noun preserves the propositional value in any function and complicates the semantics of the sentence, thus, increasing its informativity.
