The dissertation is developed to investigation of the place and role of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in the mechanism of protection and providing of rights and freedoms of an individual and citizen. The legal nature of constitutional jurisdiction, history of evolution of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, its power and place and role in state mechanism of ensuring established rights and freedoms of citizen are examined in the work; a methodological aspect of constitutional regulation rights and freedoms of an individual and citizen (historical aspect and European experience) are studies. Attention is paid to implementation of an individual constitutional appeal in the system of constitutional jurisdiction and practice of application of constitutional appeals in forcing states and national prospective of their implementation and international standards of human rights. Attention is stressed on problems of providing of rights and freedoms of an individual and citizen in modern conditions.
