Thesis dissertation deals with the peculiarities of clonidine acute poisoning in patients of different ages. On the basis of clinical, epidemiological and laboratory parameters the performance criteria for pharmacological correction of neuro- and cardiotoxic effects in patients of different age groups were examined. Assessment of the effectiveness of detoxification in clonidine acute poisoning was appraised on the basis of evaluation of the severity of toxicity. Based on the criteria of severity of toxicities the differentiated approach to the use of methods of detoxification and pharmacological correction in patients of older age groups with clonidine acute poisoning was proposed. The therapeutic and preventive scheme aimed at reducing the risk of complications and improve treatment was developed.
