Object is a group of collected short stories by L. Petrushevskaya, V. Tokareva, T. Tolstaya, L. Ulizkaya. The aim is the analysis of motive structure and narrative organization of short story in works by L. Petrushevskaya, V. Tokareva, T. Tolstaya, L. Ulizkaya. The methods include the principles of system, structural-semantic, comparative-typologycal and gender analysis. The typology of diverse narrative motive forms is presented in three binary combinations: "family - loneliness", "house - homelessness", "life - death", which form the thorough structure with the vertical and horizontal levels, ensuring the possibility of vice-versa motive transformation at the relative point of level intersection. The special character of the implied author, presented as a female narrator, is formed with the help of characters and narrators, due to the special approach in arrangement and nomination of cycled and collected stories with the influence of motivic, narrative and stylistic means. Stylistic peculiarities of female prose in syntax, lexis and grammar are divided into commonly typical and individual, they form the basis of the female-writers' idiostyle.
