Essay

The objects are the "short prose" of R. Stevenson, R. Kipling, J. Conrad and Russian writers A. Chekhov, A. Kuprin, A. Green. The aim is to study the individual author strategies of recreation the unstable time, realized in prose of English and Russian writers at the turn of 19 th - 20 th centuries. The methods are comparative, comparative-historical, typological analysis. The creative work of the English and Russian authors is investigated (in the present dissertation) in the context of synergetic achievements which studies crisis - chaos - self-regulation of matter. Turning to the conceptual apparatus characteristic of this branch of knowledge, the possibilities of some of its aspect usage in artistic texts analysis have been shown in the work. It concerns the processes of bifurcation, fluctuation, attraction and also dissipation. It has been proved that the hero's aspiration for leaving the frames of everyday life? the author's attempts to speak ironically of the past? numerous and diverse experiments in the field of ideas and artistic trends, tendencies, styles can be considered the modus of transitional artistic thinking. Nevertheless, paradoxical diversity of colours of created literary artifacts represents a certain regularity - it indicates "fluidity" of the boundaries existing between past and future.
