The work specifies the notion of higher educational institutions of organs of internal affairs of Ukraine. It defines the place of higher educational institutions of organs of internal affairs of Ukraine in the system of Administrative Law subjects. Dissertation characterizes legal bases for higher educational institutions' of organs of internal affairs of Ukraine activity. It ascertains essence and determines structure of administrative-legal status of higher educational institutions of organs of internal affairs of Ukraine. The work defines the aim and principles of foundation and functioning of higher educational institutions of organs of internal affairs of Ukraine, their tasks, functions, authority and peculiarities of their legal liability.
