The dissertation on reception of the scientific degree of Cand. Tech. Sci. in the specialty 21.06.01 - ecological safety. - National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" - Kyiv, 2010. Based on the criteria of water thermostability in industrial circulating cooling systems defined the requirements for water quality during the transition from open to closed systems. Defined conditions of deep reagent water softening by the combined using of sodium hidroxoaluminate with lime, soda or lye. Shown that the application of this method hardness of water can be reduced from 4.0 - 38.0 mg-eq/dm3 till 0.2 - 1,0 mg-eq/dm3 for low values of residual alkalinity of water on the example of removing cuprum ions from water shown that along with effective softening of water sodium hidroxoaluminate provides effective removal of heavy metal ions from water. For the first time shown that ion exchange poisoning of ions of iron in the process of water softening compounds is due to increasing pH with sodium cationization of water. Created a scheme of ion exchange water softening that provides effective removal of ions of iron, copper and other heavy metals from water. Researched processes of using reagent and electrochemical for retreatment of regeneration solutions. Developed low-waste technologies for the conditioning of the closed circulating water cooling systems.
