Lavska N. Improvement of the technology of Cucumber growing in the Polissya of Ukraine.

The three-year researches' results of the investigation of technology of cucumber growing in the field conditions of Ukrainian Polissya are presented. It was studied the influence of the local application of different of organic fertilizers on the growth, development and productivity of cucumber variety Dzherelo and hybrid Levadniy F1. It was discovered that the local application of 20 t/ha of organic fertilizer had providedthe increasing of productivity on average by 4,6 t/h. The seeds of cucumber of middle fraction provided additional yield of the cucumber variety Dzherelo3,9 t/ha, of a hybrid Levadniy F1 of 3,2 t/h. The characteristics of cucumber growth and development at the different terms of growing were investigated. The most efficient method of the plants formation is top removal of the fourth - fifth leaf, that allowed to reach productivity of the hybrid Levadniy F1 37,4 t/ha, of variety Dzherelo 34,7 t/h. Economic efficiency of the local application of organic fertilizers, seed fractions, and the methods of plants formation was calculated. Along with economical the bioenergetical estimation was performed.
