The dissertation substantiates the advisability of introducing a methodical system of forming computer modelling skills for physics teachers to be in the process of teaching informatics. It refines the conceptual apparatus of computer modelling. Individual components of the methodical system (content, means, methods and forms) of the end-to-end teaching of computer modelling through various software environments have been developed and introduced into the educational process of training physics teachers to be, their efficiency has been proved theoretically and experimentally. Introducing the end-to-end teaching of computer modelling into the educational process of training students of physical specialities at pedagogical universities allows the development of their intellectual skills and deep understanding of modelled processes to be ensured, research skills to be formed, knowledge and skills in informatics, physical and mathematical disciplines to be extended, skills in working in various software environments to be improved.
