Essay

Dissertation devoted to the study of a functional state of the stress-realizing immune-neuro-endocrine system in acute cerebral ischemic stroke, development of diagnosis criteria and medication correction for the disease considering the revealed changes. There are examinated 128 patients with cerebral ischemic stroke. It has been established that functional state of the immune-neuro-endocrine system in stroke patients is characterized with activation stress-realizing hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis and stress-limiting system of endogenous opioid peptides. High levels of interleukin-1?, tumor necrosis factor-?, adrenocorticotropic hormone, cortisol and ?-endorphin there are revealed in acute stroke, established their relationship with severity of the condition of patients. The diagnosis criteria for the assessment of the cerebral ischemic stroke severity have been developed. The medication correction with the drug with stress-protective properties Cortexin has been proposed on the base of the obtained data. Key words: cerebral ischemic stroke, immune-neuro-endocrine system, interleukin-1?, tumor necrosis factor-?, adrenocorticotropic hormone, cortisol, ?-endorphin, Cortexin.
