This thesis is devoted to the theoretical numerically-analytical analysis of edge resonance effects under harmonical elastic waves excitation and vibrations in spa-tial transversally-isotropic bodies of several geometrical types. Edge resonance ex-istence and characteristics under axysymmetrical tension-compression oscillations of circular and concentric annual plates are analyzed with homogeneous solutions method using. Edge resonance effect under symmetrical normal modes excitation in transversally-isotropic semi-layer and axysymmetrical normal longitudinal-shear modes excitation in transversally-isotropic semi-cylinder with free outer edge sur-faces is studied. Frequencies and forms of edge resonance dependences on special wave anisotropy rate in several ceramic and mono-crystal transversally-isotropic materials are investigated.
