Vintoniv S. Truthas a socialcultural category in humanitarian knowledge

Dissertation is sanctified to research of truth as integral socialcultural category, without the correct use of which understanding of specific of becoming, functioning and development of humanitarian knowledge is difficult. It is shown that in humanitarian and social knowledge there are concepts which deputized category of truth in the concrete area of knowledge. It is such concepts, as "true", "benefit", "myth", "ideology", "ideal". Surely, each of them carries the semantic loading, all of them carry out one or another social function, however the substitution of concepts can result in that knowledge will be oriented not to truth, and, at the best, on "social acceptability".
