It is well-proven that tobacco smoking is a complicated behavioral act, which onset and formation are prompted by a set of social and physiological conditions as well as by individual personal features of a pregnant woman. Maternal-fetal blood circulation at tobacco smoking during pregnancy changes towards the increase of vascular resistance in the uterine artery, artery of umbilical cord, and middle cerebral artery of the fetus. The most frequent complications of the early neonatal period are neurological violations, syndromes of dysadaptation and of policitemiya. The conducted researches prove high clinical efficiency of the developed measures for tobacco smoking control and correction of placental dysfunction.
