Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the improvement of methods of diagnostic and treatment of a hypertension (HT) at the elderly by definition of influence of preparations with left-handed isomers of Metoprolol and Amlodipine on haemodynamic types of microcirculation (MC), spectral characteristics of the central and peripheral links of regulation of a microvascular tone, hemoreological indicators and level of arterial pressure (AP). Results of the study have established the presence of pathological types of microcirculation: spastic and hyperemic. The relationship of the spectral characteristics of the local regulation of vascular tone of peripheral link with heart rate variability was established. In addition to proven antihypertensive properties of preparations with the left-handed isomers (target blood pressure level was achieved by using twice a smaller dose in comparison with their racemic forms), treatment of S-metoprolol and S-amlodipine has led to a decrease in blood viscosity and platelet aggregation activity level, reduce the tone of the arteries and arterioles, simultaneously without worsening a blood-groove in the venular section of a microvascular channel, in a difference from the racemic preparations which lead to stagnation in microvessels.
