Research is devoted to the problems of administrative and legal relations in the sphere of the maintenance of citizens information right. Concept and features of methodological approaches to the research of administrative and legal relations in the sphere of the maintenance of citizens' information right are revealed. On the basis of the analysis of a category "information" its role and value in administrative-legal relations is defined. The concept and kinds of administrative and legal relations in the sphere of the maintenance of citizens' information right are considered. Questions concerning the structure and matter of the maintenance of citizens' information right as an object of administrative and legal relations are examined.
