Rusnak Y. Family Rites Vocabulary in the Bucovinian Patois

The manuscript analyses vocabulary of nuptial, birth and obsequial rites. The facts make it possible to shape nuptial rite vocabulary into two lexical-thematic grids (LTGs). Vocabulary of birth and obsequial rites forms the boundary rites LGT. In the thesis, with the broad assortment of facts gained from the living popular style of speaking, the systemic analysis is performed of structural, semantic-functional and ethno-linguistic peculiarities of rites vocabulary; interlanguage contacts of the Bucovinian patois speakers with the neighbouring nations are observed; specificity of the Bucovinian patois family rites vocabulary is studied in the context of the areal transformations that all-Ukrainian concepts underwent, and in the all-Slavonic context.
